Dear Reader:
No, I am not dead, though thanks ever so for the various emails asking whether or not I still walk among the living. Not that I would be answering your pressing Interweb-query if I had gone into the beyond, but, hey, I appreciate the sentiment.
It is August, I am celebrating a personal holiday or two, and am therefore on a serious Vay-cay until September. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you in your day-to-day Day Job reading. Sorry, but a girl simply must get her vacation on every now and again.
I do have a couple updates for you, though. As many of you noticed (and I thank you for doing so), my profile in Penelope Trunk's column got pushed back a bit. I will absolutely publish the link when that puppy goes live. Be very excited for a great picture of me doing my day job.
Also, thanks to my dear friend and colleague Jeffrey Brody, I recently had a fantastic experience singing the Verdi Requiem with the Paul Madore Chorale summersing in Salem, MA. A great time was had by all, and met some seriously cool Day Job fans along the way. Look forward to a few wonderfully educational, incredibly interesting and blissfully-classical profiles to come after I get back from the break.
Always,
Erin
